For n≥3, let r=r(n)≥3 be an integer. A hypergraph is r-uniform if each edge is a set of r vertices, and is said to be linear if two edges intersect in at most one vertex. In this talk, the number of linear r-uniform hypergraphs on n ⟶∞ vertices is determined asymptotically when the number of edges is m(n)=o(r^-3n^3/2). We also find the probability of linearity for the independent-edge model of random r-uniform hypergraph when the expected number of edges is o(r^-3n^3/2), and some recent developments as the applications.

报告人简介:

田方2006年从中国科学技术大学应用数学专业博士毕业，之后一直在上海财经大学数学学院工作，历任副教授，硕士生导师。期间2018年访问澳大利亚国立大学理论计算机研究中心一年，2013年访问南卡罗莱纳哥伦比亚分校一年。目前研究兴趣是图结构中随机方法，极值图论及相关问题。发表专业学术论文近20篇。
